October is Pilipinx American History Month, and MiraCosta College is inviting the college community to take part in a month of learning, sharing, and celebrating. From mixers to book discussions to curated exhibits, the lineup reflects the history, resilience, and contributions of Pilipinx Americans and the spirit of bayanihan — working together for the common good.
Behind the scenes, a small group of faculty, staff, and students worked together to bring these opportunities to life. Their goal: to create meaningful spaces where people can connect, grow, and expand their understanding of Pilipinx heritage.
