MiraCosta College has opened a new $42.5 million Chemistry and Biotechnology Building on its Oceanside campus, designed to make science visible, accessible, and inviting. Built by C.W. Driver Companies and designed by HED Architects, the two-story facility doubles the college’s lab space and supports its growing biotech and chemistry programs. With wide walkways, a massive cantilevered roof, and sustainable features like rooftop solar and fresh-air systems, the building signals a bold investment in STEM education and student success.
