MiraCosta College is thrilled to announce the production of Cole Porter's classic musical, "Anything Goes," set to take the stage on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Celebrating its 90th anniversary, MiraCosta College continues its tradition of excellence in the arts with this high-spirited production. "Anything Goes" features a sensational blend of music and lyrics by Cole Porter, with an original book by P.G. Wodehouse, Guy Bolton, Howard Lindsay, and Russel Crouse, and a new book by Timothy Crouse and John Weldman. The show promises to be a delightful journey through some of musical theater’s most memorable and timeless tunes.
Directed by Tracy Williams, with music direction by Elan McMahan and choreography by Dave Massey, this production is a testament to the college’s commitment to fostering talent and creativity. The New York Times praised the show's enduring appeal, noting, “There’s no underestimating the abiding infectiousness of Porter’s best songs.”

Audiences are invited to embark on a hilarious cruise filled with romance, comedy, and the enchanting music of Cole Porter. The show features beloved hits like “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top,” “Friendship,” “It’s De-Lovely,” and the iconic title song “Anything Goes.”
As MiraCosta College marks its 90th year, it's fitting that "Anything Goes" – a musical that has stood the test of time – graces our stage. Like the production, the college has a rich history of providing quality education and vibrant community engagements.
