Terms of service for MiraCosta College OKTA SMS
1. If you choose to enable SMS two factor authentication while setting up your MiraCosta account or by adding this option after account creation, you will receive TXT messages from us containing a 6-digit code used for two factor authentication.
2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just login into your OKTA account at https://okta.miracosta.edu and remove your phone number from your profile. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to opt back in to using SMS as a Two-Factor option log in to OKTA and re-register your phone number in your profile.
3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, please contact the MiraCosta College help desk https://www.miracosta.edu/its/its-help-desk.html.
4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
