The Spartans are back, and MiraCosta College is set for an unforgettable fall 2025 athletics season. Women’s Soccer, Men’s Soccer, and Women’s Volleyball are all coming off a summer of intense training. Between early mornings, late nights, and long hours balancing practice with academics, these student-athletes have been goal-crushing for months to prepare for this moment. Now, they are calling on the MiraCosta community to show up and share the energy.
“Our student athletes have put in countless hours preparing for this moment,” said Athletics Director Patrick Conahan. “They work hard in the classroom and on the field, and now they’re ready to compete with heart. We want our community in the stands to cheer them on every step of the way.”

For the players, this season is the result of months of effort and focus. “We’ve been grinding since summer,” said Men’s Soccer student athlete Dominik Wicks. “Every day is about pushing ourselves harder, and it shows in the way we play. We’ve built something strong, like a family, and we’re ready to finish what we started. There’s some unfinished business, and this season we’re coming for it.”
