Get ready for a family-friendly and culturally enriching celebration on May 4 at MiraCosta College’s Oceanside Campus (1 Barnard Dr., Oceanside, CA 92056). MiraCosta College is excited to announce two dynamic events on the same day: the 20th annual STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, Math) Festival and the 2nd Annual Festival de Música. From hands-on science and technology activities to lively music performances, there's something for everyone to enjoy at these engaging events.

The STREAM Festival Features STEM, Reading, and Art-related Activities

The STREAM Festival is a free event geared towards Pre-K-8th-grade students and their loved ones. It aims to spark curiosity in these subjects and potential careers by focusing on science, technology, reading/writing, engineering, arts, and math. Attendees can participate in activities created by MiraCosta College Students, Staff, Faculty, and local Community Partners. The festival provides a unique opportunity for visitors to explore various fields and consider the educational offerings at MiraCosta College. 

When: Sunday, May 4, 2025, 12-3 p.m.
Where: Oceanside Campus, Buildings OC3500 and OC3600, Classrooms OC3517 and OC3516

The Festival de Música Features Musical Performances and Activities

MiraCosta College will host the second annual Festival de Música on Sunday, May 4. The family-friendly, free event will feature performances by various groups, including Mariachi Nueva Tradicion, Los Yauris, and Red Luna Band, as well as complimentary food for the first 100 guests.
