Campus Community Alert

04/2/2025
THIS BULLETIN IS BEING POSTED TO ADVISE YOU OF AN INCIDENT THAT CONCERNS THE SAFETY OF THE MIRACOSTA COLLEGE COMMUNITY.

PLEASE TAKE ALL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS.

SYNOPSIS:
On 04.02.2025, at approximately 9:20 a.m. on the San Elijo Campus (3333 Manchester Ave), a student entered the women’s restroom located in the 200 building. Shortly after entering the restroom, the student heard someone else enter the bathroom and what sounded like a male cursing and banging on the stall doors. The subject continued to bang on multiple stall doors for several minutes. At one point, the student peered through the crack of the door and saw a subject wearing a black hoodie washing their hands; they were unable to provide any other description. The student waited until the bathroom was clear to leave.
After checking the area, the student didn’t see anyone in the immediate location; however, she described a subject who had been pacing in the area before she entered the restroom. The student believes the subject pacing in the area is the same subject who entered the women’s bathroom. This disruptive behavior of the subject inside the restroom caused the student to fear for their safety.

The subject is considered a potential threat to the community. If seen, do not attempt to contact; please notify MiraCosta College Police immediately 760.795.6640 or 6911 from any campus phone.

SUBJECT DESCRIPTION:
Male wearing a black hoodie.
