Alice Gallagher Recital – A Musical Journey On Thursday, February 8, from 7:30 to 9 p.m., the college will host the Alice Gallagher Recital in the Concert Hall OC2406. Alice Gallagher, a renowned clarinet instructor at MiraCosta, will perform an eclectic program ranging from a Baroque fantasy to Cuban dances, and a unique piece blending the sounds of vintage dial-up internet with Serbian folk dance. This event promises to be a sonic exploration like no other.

Art Exhibit: "Everything Dissolves" by Kline Swonger MiraCosta College is also proud to present "Everything Dissolves," an art exhibit by cross-disciplinary artist  Kline Swonger. The exhibit in the Kruglak Gallery from February 6 to March 1 explores the interplay between physical and emotional landscapes. Swonger's work invites viewers into a reflective journey of perception and space. Join us for the exhibit reception and artist talk on Wednesday, February 21, starting at 11:30 a.m.

An Evening with Richard Dreyfuss Highlighting the month's events, MiraCosta College is honored to welcome American actor Richard Dreyfuss. With a career spanning several decades, Dreyfuss is celebrated for his versatile and impactful roles in American cinema. The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 24, at 5:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall on the Oceanside Campus (1 Barnard Drive) Bldg. 2400, will offer insights into his illustrious career. Admission is free, and RSVPs can be made online.
