MiraCosta College students can get support and have fun preparing for the fall 2022 semester at any of three Welcome Fest events being held in August at the college campuses.

“We’re back on campus! We are ready to support you with services and opportunities that will provide you a solid future and continue to improve our community,” said Gaby B. Love, Outreach Student Services Specialist.

At each Welcome Fest event, students and their families and friends can connect with various departments and on-campus support services, while enjoying free food, music, and games. This is a family-friendly event with Spanish bilingual services available.

The first event is Saturday, August 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the San Elijo Campus, 3333 Manchester Avenue in Cardiff.

The second event is Saturday, August 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Oceanside Campus, 1 Barnard Drive.

The third event is Saturday, August 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Community Learning Center, 1831 Mission Avenue in Oceanside.

At Welcome Fest, students can:
Receive on-site application and registration assistance.
Learn how to get money for college.
Meet or schedule time with academic counselors.
Connect with professors and staff.
Talk with career counselors.
