Because of your generous support, MiraCosta College has continued to provide students with financial assistance and essential resources as they pursue their educational journey.
The prior eighteen months have been significantly challenging for our students. For so many students, the cost of higher education, coupled with living expenses, can be overwhelming obstacles. Some of our students have to choose between buying food or buying textbooks and supplies. Others are balancing the demands of multiple jobs, caring for elderly parents, raising younger siblings, and the uncertainties that come with being a first generation college student. When these pressures compound, it can cause students to withdraw completely from their studies and this represents a tragic loss of human potential.
