History of Modern Art
This course covers European and American art forms, primarily painting, sculpture, and architecture, from the beginning of modernism in the mid-19th century to contemporary art in the 21st century. Students learn to delineate themes, styles, and techniques indicative of various time periods and to differentiate among 20th and 21st century art movements.
