Student “Wizard” Automates Career Center System

In an article from California State University San Marcos, computer science student Sierra Brandt is recognized for creating an automated solution to fix a major data issue in the Career Center. A transfer from MiraCosta College, she built a script that cleared nearly 80,000 inactive accounts from Handshake in one afternoon, replacing a manual process.

Brandt will begin her career as a full stack software engineer at Trabus Technologies after graduation.
