NBC 7 San Diego reported that MiraCosta College and National University have announced an expanded partnership to make higher education more accessible and affordable.
The agreement, unveiled during National Transfer Student Week, offers steep tuition discounts for MiraCosta students, alumni, and employees continuing their studies at National University. Benefits include a 46 percent reduction for associate degree for transfer (ADT) graduates who enroll within 36 months, 25 percent discounts for bachelor’s and master’s programs, and up to 15 percent off doctoral degrees for employees.
The partnership builds on a long-standing relationship—more than 4,000 MiraCosta students have already graduated from National University—and will provide flexible online and hybrid options with dedicated transfer support.
MiraCosta Superintendent/President Dr. Sunita “Sunny” Cooke emphasized that the collaboration helps learners advance in both education and career. “We want to introduce as many opportunities for students to come in and out of the educational pathway as they need,” she said.
