This October, MiraCosta College invites you to celebrate Pilipinx American History Month (PAHM) with a series of events that honor the vibrant cultural heritage and contributions of the Pilipinx American community. From educational displays to engaging workshops and a festive celebration, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and learn.

Discover a collection of Filipino artifacts that reflect the rich traditions of the Pilipinx community. The display features items such as barongs, traditional dresses, mancala games, and more, offering a window into the beauty and history of Pilipinx culture. Ever felt like you didn’t belong, even when you achieved success? This workshop explores Impostor Syndrome from a Pilipina’s perspective, providing insights and tools to navigate feelings of self-doubt. All are welcome to join us in this supportive and informative session.
