What/When/Where:
MiraCosta College Health Services are continuing to partner with Champions for Health into the fall semester starting the week before classes with the first COVID Vaccine/Booster Clinic on
Oceanside Campus, Tuesday, August 16, from 10 am-3 pm in the circle outside the Admin building (1000) and the Library. (Flyers in
English and
Spanish)
Future Clinics:
If you can't make this one, future clinics will be held the 3rd Tuesday of every month September through November.
Flu Vaccines:
There will be NO flu vaccines available at this clinic. Flu vaccines do not become available until the September to October timeframe.
COVID Vaccines:
All four COVID vaccines will be available while supplies last.
Boosters:
If it has been 5 months or more since your primary COVID vaccine or vaccine series, you are eligible for a booster dose. If you are over 50 OR moderately to severely immune compromised, you are eligible for a second booster dose.
Cost:
Vaccines will be completely free to all with no insurance required and are for students, staff, faculty, family members, and the community so feel free to spread the attached flyers far and wide.
