Thomas Tubon, Executive Director, Community Education and Workforce. In his role, he leads industry-driven workforce development and community education initiatives, particularly within the life sciences and emerging technology sectors. Tubon previously served as the chief workforce development officer for the Bioindustrial Manufacturing and Design Ecosystem Manufacturing Institute, where he led the launch of national education initiatives aimed at enhancing workforce capacity. He previously worked as a professor in the biotechnology program at Madison College in Wisconsin. Tubon earned his doctorate degree in molecular genetics from Stony Brook University and his bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from San Diego State University.
