Danielle Lauria joins MiraCosta College as the Dean of Nursing, Health, and Wellness in the Instructional Services division. Before her role at MiraCosta College, Lauria served as the Director of Didactic Education at Point Loma Nazarene University and the Allied Health Program Director and Department Chair at San Diego Mesa College. Lauria brings extensive experience as both a healthcare professional and educator. She began her career as a Primary Care Physician Assistant and has worked in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Dermatology. She later became an educator and academic leader, using her hands-on experience to inform new health programs and curricula for college students.
