MiraCosta College’s Latinx Chicanx Heritage Month activities have grown beyond the single month of October to include November. The full calendar is available on the Social Justice & Equity Center Instagram account @mccsjec.

Ongoing: Virtual Library Display
The MiraCosta College Library has created captivating online displays featuring items from their collections of each of the History and Heritage Months. Arte hasta la muerte: Awareness & Advocacy—Paint the Fields with Us! 
Join Maira Meza, artist and illustrator of the award-winning book, The Spirit of Chicano Park/El espíritu del parque Chicano, to paint and reflect on the value of the food produced by farmworkers. Good Chisme: A Roundtable Discussion on Identity, Language, and Raza
