Welcome to MiraCosta College Community Services and Business Development!
It is our pleasure to serve the North County Coastal community by offering classes and programs that provide you and your family with opportunities to learn, grow and develop. We offer the highest quality instruction in the following areas:
Community Classes and Excursions: Workshops, seminars and classes for
everyone! We invite you to attend classes in art, fitness, language, health, home arts,
business, finance and personal development. Our excursions are designed to be
unique cultural and fun events, as low cost as possible. Let us do the driving while you
enjoy the experience.
Driver's Education: Our Driver's Education program is well known throughout the North
County. We make sure every teen or adult who wants to learn to drive receives the very
best instruction possible. Classroom, online and behind-the-wheel classes!
Online Courses and Classes: We are proud to offer literally thousands of online classes
and certficated career courses through our partnership with Ed2Go, Gatlin Education,
and George Brown College. Add to your workskills, change your career or change
your life in the comfort of your home at your own convenience!

Children's and Youth Programs:
Youth and Children's programming for 2010 will include
more classroom skills development and tutoring opportunities. We also provide SAT
test prep, golfing lessons and even swimming lessons. Don't forget to check back here
for updates on our 2010 COLLEGE FOR KIDS program.
Workforce Training:
We are your resource to provide training ONSITE at your place of
business. Our trainers are experts in leadership, customer service, ESL and just about
any type of skill development you might need. Just give us a call and we can come to
your organization for a no cost assessment and consultation.
English Language Institute:
Our English language courses, or ELCSI (English Language
and College Skills Institute), are designed especially for international students. If you
want to study in California, we can help you prepare for entry into a College or
University's under-graduate or postgraduate courses. If you want to study English to
help your career or for personal reasons, we'll give you those skills.
Travel Club: Come on an international adventure with us to exciting and exotic places.
Check off your bucket list by signing up for one of our four star learning vacations. We
usepartner with Collette Vacations to offer these fabulous trips because they are the
longest standing and best tour country in America.
SCUBA PROGRAM:
We are excited to offer this new PADI approved open water scuba certification course. We offer classes for the beginner - all the way to the advanced diver.
HYBRID VEHICLE TECHNICIAN COURSE
Beginning March 2010 we will hold our first Hybrid Vehicle Technician training class. This 40 hour training course is designed for experienced auto mechanics and students who have recently completed an auto mechanic program. This course
will prepare participants to competently work on both foreign and domestic hybrid vehicles. Tuition is entirely funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act stimulus funding. Students must pre-qualify to enter this course.
