Students have the opportunity to work in two facilities on the
Oceanside Campus. The main theatre is a contemporary space designed
especially for college actors by San Diego's Old Globe architect
Gene Weston. With seating for 243, the theatre is warm and intimate
and features a full fly counterweight system, new soft patch lighting
system, hydraulic thrust stage and vom as well as a makeup
lab, costume shop and scene shop. A smaller, experimental theatre
is used to stage student-directed plays.
